I planted this tree sometime this year and about a week ago I was anxious when I saw it shedding all its leaves. I thought it was dying off. But then, I and my Colleague, Onyeka didn't give up. We kept at watering it and hoping it would survive. Three days ago while I ventured out, I saw some very decent healthy new leaves sprouting out. I was marveled. I learnt a lot from the tree. Sometimes we have to let go of some of our negative traits to acquire positive ones. You can't put new wine in old wine skin. To grow, you have to lose some bad and dying traits. You have to cut some people from your lives to move forward. Our rural doctor initiative tree will grow and provide shade to more rural doctors that would be here long after we are gone. Good morning from our not-so-little village. It is all about a vision and having the faith to carry it out to the letter.
