Doctor Arome Kacy Bala OKEME is a rural medical professional in Nigeria employed by Kateri Medical Services.

He has served, and still serving, the rural resource poor dwellers for 7 years and counting. He has worked in Kateri, a village located in Kaduna, North of Abuja, about halfway to Kaduna on the infamous Kaduna-Abuja expressway. Serving the people of Kateri selflessly for over 5 years, he has continued to be a beacon of hope of good basic health to the people in the villages.

People are more likely to die in the rural areas out of health challenges than anywhere else.

We feel the urgent need to bring to your knowledge some of the heartbreaking images and stories of people who might be saved should they have the opportunities obtainable in the cities.
How important is great, prompt medical care to you? If there are no Doctors in the villages, there must be quacks. Someone's got to take care of the sick. Nature abhors vacuums.

"We owe humanity this service. We owe ourselves this moral duty. We owe life this show of concern and gratitude."
